Our Team

Dr. Neeraj S. Thakur is a research scientist and project lead at the Hough Ear Institute in Oklahoma City, focusing on inner ear research. With a Master’s and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology (Biotechnology) from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Mohali, India), he specializes in neurotheranostics, synthetic chemistry, cellular biology, and histology. His research involves advanced formulation development and testing, particularly in drug delivery systems for hearing-related applications. Thakur has an impressive track record of 29 peer-reviewed publications, 5 patents, 1 book, and 6 book chapters, with expertise in nanotechnology, drug delivery platforms, and biomedical research. His work spans international research institutions, including postdoctoral positions at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences(Oklahoma City), the University of Geneva (Switzerland), and the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB, India), and continues to push boundaries in pharmaceutical and biomedical innovations as a member of the HEI Research Team.
