Our Team

Jianzhong Lu, received a PhD degree in neurophysiology and has spent the last 30 years doing research in various aspects of auditory physiology with specific training and expertise in electrophysiological aspects of this field.  His work at key research institutes in China and the US has resulted in his authorship or co-authorship of 25 research papers. Since 2009 he has been an integral part of the studies at HEI on the effects of antioxidant treatment to reduce the severity of hearing loss and tinnitus following noise or blast exposure.
