Weihua Cheng, BS
Research Scientist
Weihua Cheng received B.S of nursing degrees from Medical School of Wuhan University in Wuhan China. She has a strong background in histology, immunohistochemistry, small animal surgery, molecular biology, and HPLC. As a research assistant in the Health Science Center in University of Tennessee, she helped researchers carry out experiments on brain microdialysis, autoimmune hearing loss involving surviving brain and cochlear surgery in rats and mice, histology, and hearing tests (ABR). She joined Hough Ear Institute in 2008, where she now focuses on immunohistochemistry and histology of noise or blast induced hearing loss and brain injury.
